BlizzCon 2026 will be held on the 12th and 13th. The full event schedule has been released, with Diablo Developer Update on the first day and Diablo 4 What’s Next on the second day being the two most anticipated panels. The former leans more towards the future direction of the entire Diablo series, while the latter will directly focus on Diablo 4, likely revealing the final content of Season 15.

In addition, there are some unexplained details in the floor map and event schedule that may lead to some unexpected content at this year’s BlizzCon. Unmarked time slots on the main stage schedule, a large Diablo 4 demo area, Diablo 30th Anniversary Celebration, and the collaboration with The Witcher all potentially relate to content that Blizzard plans to announce.

Some of the content is merely speculation from the community based on the event’s arrangements, and these clues shouldn’t be considered Diablo 4 leaks yet. However, if Blizzard is planning some surprises at BlizzCon, IGGM.com believes these details are likely the most noteworthy.

Diablo 4 BlizzCon 2026 When Is Season 15 Coming Out IGGM.com Looks at What Blizzard Has Planned

Season 15

Currently, the in-game Season Journey shows 12 days remaining in the current season, and Season 15 is expected to begin on September 15th. Following the pacing of Diablo 4’s past seasons, the next season usually begins quickly after one season ends, with very few long gaps.

This timing also aligns closely with BlizzCon 2026 schedule. The content revealed in PTR is not the final version; the official announcement of the final Season 15 content will be made at BlizzCon.

After watching BlizzCon, you’ll soon be able to play the new Seasonal Realm. Twitch Drops will also be available during the event, and watching related livestreams will earn you free cosmetics, allowing you to immediately try it out in Season 15.

If you want to get geared up faster after the new season starts, you can buy Diablo 4 items after Season 15 goes live, reducing the time spent farming gear in the early game and allowing you to experience the new gameplay sooner.

Unannounced Content

In the official BlizzCon main stage schedule, there’s an unannounced gap between Warcraft What’s Next and Diablo Developer Update. At first glance, this might just seem like a regular break, but considering Diablo 4 is still the most anticipated title in Diablo series, this gap is worth noting.

This year’s BlizzCon also coincides with Diablo’s 30th anniversary, and the official schedule includes not only Diablo Developer Update but also a large Diablo 4 demo and a dedicated Diablo Stage. If Blizzard plans to announce D4 content beyond Season 15, this unannounced time slot is actually a suitable location.

Diablo Stage’s scheduling makes this speculation even more interesting. The currently released schedule dedicates a significant portion of this stage to Diablo Immortal, but it doesn’t fully explain all possible Diablo-related content.

For BlizzCon, a convention celebrating Diablo’s 30th anniversary and attracting many Diablo 4 players and content creators, it’s natural to be interested in whether any impromptu D4 announcements will be made here.

Demo Station

Blizzard is adept at leaving subtle clues at BlizzCon. While these arrangements don’t directly prove new content is about to be announced, a significantly larger demo area than other titles makes it hard to ignore its purpose.

Looking at the floor map, Diablo 4 has a noticeably larger dedicated demo area. Blizzard might not need such a large playable space simply to let you experience existing content, making this arrangement more likely for unannounced D4 content.

One plausible guess is that Blizzard might showcase a Switch 2 version of Diablo 4 at BlizzCon. If many players need to try out the new platform version on-site, then increasing the number of Demo Stations and expanding the demo area makes perfect sense.

Of course, the most likely purpose of the large demo area is to allow you to experience Diablo 4 Season 15 content in advance. Duelist’s skill combos, the feel of new weapons, and the damage of new builds can all be effectively promoted through on-site demos.

In addition, Diablo 1, Diablo 2, and Diablo 3 are grouped together in Classic area, coinciding with Diablo 30th Anniversary Celebration. Diablo 4 Season 15 also has a strong nostalgic element, including nine items from Diablo 3.

Given these arrangements, IGGM.com is also starting to wonder if Blizzard will use the anniversary to bring more Classic content, such as announcing a Diablo 1 remake or remaster.

Witcher Collaboration

Another confirmed announcement for Diablo 4 at BlizzCon is the collaboration with CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher. CD Projekt Red will be attending BlizzCon and will present the collaboration.

Confirmed content includes a Geralt-themed skin for D4. Meanwhile, The Witcher 3 itself features distinctive weapons, items, and Monster Slayer elements, which align well with Diablo 4’s dark fantasy style.

Therefore, we are more interested in whether Blizzard will add more The Witcher-themed Diablo 4 items or design new collaboration events around Monster Slayer theme.

As for other topics discussed in the community, such as whether D4 will add a Witcher-like class or whether the collaboration will bring more gameplay, these are currently just speculations. The actual details of the collaboration will have to wait for the official announcement at BlizzCon.

Based on the current schedule, Season 15 remains the most anticipated event for Diablo 4 players. What might be missing from the main stage, what exactly the large-scale D4 demo is going to showcase, whether there will be any additional content for Diablo’s 30th anniversary, and what the Witcher collaboration will bring – all of these questions await Blizzard’s official announcement.
